You can easily incorporate French Country Decor into your own home.

It won't take much time to start experiencing the warmth of French Country Living if you add some wonderful french style accents.

Here I am going to show you 10 easy home decorating ideas that you can implement into your home.

Idea #1: Farm folks, scenes, and animals: are familiar images to incorporate. You will see roosters, chickens and pigs a lot with French Style, so don't be shy about using these characters where ever you can.

You may want to find farm scene prints for your wall, and French animal items to weave through out your cottage home.

Idea #4: Set your table with toile style china plates, as pictured here. These dishes will bring elegance and charm to your kitchen or dining room.

Idea #5: Use Terracotta pots These are so cheap, and available at any home and garden center. Fill them with herbs and flowers. Set these on your window sill to add a garden touch to your home.

Idea #6: Add a weather vane to your roof top! Weather vanes are traditional with French homes, and make a nice addition to any cottage. They are available in a large variety of styles and themes.

You can also find small table top weather vanes that are used for charming decorating accents.

Idea #7: Find black wrought iron pieces to use for French Country Decor. You can find wrought iron bar stools, and end tables. There are also lamps and candle holders easily available.

I have seen wonderful iron accent pieces at my local big box retail stores. Black accents are such a great choice in French Decorating.

Idea #8: Fill a bowl with wine corks. If you're a connoisseur of wine, collect the corks and show them off. They fit perfect in a charming French kitchen.

Idea #9: Use fresh fruit and fruit motifs to show off French Style in a variety of ways. Bowls of fresh fruit especially look great, and are edible at the same time.

Fruit motifs can be found on just about every kind of home decor accent available today.

Idea #10: Sunflowers and French Lavender are distinctive to French style. The lavender motifs are some times found in bathroons and bedrooms, for a feminine and soft french style look.

Sunflowers are a perfect color for bringing in the color of the sun which is native to the french region. This flower motif is great to use in any living area. They will add a splash of color and make you feel cheery.
